There are currently no known bugs. If you have found a bug please report it using the feedback form.

Requests for new features in iDevBooks Apps

Long Division

Feature: Skip the first steps in a problem if the quotients are 0

Status: Was implemented in the 2.3 update in March 2012

Feature: Store solved problems and send answers by email to teacher

Status: Should be implemented in the next 2.3 update or in a separate 2.4 update.

Multiplication Table

Feature: Allow the demonstration of the Sieve of Eratosthenes

Status: Will be implemented in the next update.

Feature: The ability to find least common multiples and greatest common factors

Status: Will be implemented in the next update or immediately after that.

Feature: Factor trees

Column Subtraction, Trade-First Subtraction

Feature: Decimals

Status: Will be implemented during the summer 2012.

Fraction Math

Feature: Allow the user to find the common denominator and calculate the numerator by himself, without the help of the program

Recently fixed bugs in iDevBooks Apps

Fraction Math

The bug:

Setting custom problems does not work on the iPod Touch and iPhone

When the bug was fixed:

The bug was reported August 9 and a fix submitted to Apple August 10 2012.

Visual Multipication Table

When the bug could happen:

The app did not work on the new iPad (3rd generation)

Partial Sums Addition

When the bug could happen:

  • Sometimes the digits were not aligned properly when the numbers in the problem had three digits.

The bug has been fixed

The bug was reported March 2 2012 and an update was submitted to Apple March 3 2012.

Fraction Math

When the bug could happen:

  • When whole numbers are allowed and the other side of the term is a whole number and the other side a fraction AND the problem was generated by the app.
  • The user selects "convert the whole nuber into a fraction". The new fraction will be 0/0 in all cases.

When the bug was fixed?

The bug was reported February 12 2012 and an update was submitted to Apple February 20 2012.
